Still Here, Just Somewhere Else

Lately, I’ve felt a little out of tune with the music. Not lost. Just… quiet. That passion, that spark—it’s still there. It never left. But it’s like it’s hiding behind the noise. Behind the press kits, the scheduling, the content calendars, the meetings where I’m expected to show up as a “brand” before I can…

Lately, I’ve felt a little out of tune with the music.

Not lost. Just… quiet.

That passion, that spark—it’s still there. It never left. But it’s like it’s hiding behind the noise. Behind the press kits, the scheduling, the content calendars, the meetings where I’m expected to show up as a “brand” before I can show up as a human. Somewhere in all that, the music—the why—has been waiting for me to come back.

And I will.

I’ve been in this weird space. Caught between healing and rebuilding. Between moving on from someone I once loved, and moving into a new version of myself. And while I know I’m over her—I truly am—there’s still this feeling I can’t quite shake. Not her… but the essence she left behind.

That scent that lingers in the studio air when I go to write. That shadow of her voice in old songs I used to play on loop. That echo of the way she made me feel—before I realized I deserved more.

This season of my life isn’t about chasing her or forgetting her. It’s about reclaiming the space she used to occupy. Turning what’s left—the essence—into art. Into clarity. Into whatever’s next.

I’ve been rebranding lately. Reshaping how the world sees me. But even in the chaos of publicity runs and new media pushes, I’m learning how to make room for the raw parts again. The real parts. The parts that feel before they’re polished.

So if you’ve been wondering where the music is… it’s still here. Just somewhere else for now.

And I’m working my way back to it.
